Be Mine

Happy Valentine's Day, my lovely readers! I just love February 14th--always have, always will. Even when I was single, I still loved it, because my mom always sends me a package with goodies and I get a phone call in the morning from my dad! I'll be spending tonight with a pretty cute guy, dining at Bistro Bis and ice skaing at the Sculpture Garden. I'm a terrible ice skater (but one fabulous rollerblader) so my poor I've-been-playing-hockey-since-I-was-six-years-old boyfriend is going to have to hold my hand the entire time. What about you?! Any fun plans on this Hallmark holiday I so dearly love?

I've been familiar with Minted for a while now, and recently checked out their business cards. While I'm not in the market for my own cards just yet, some of these are just so stinkin' cute, I almost want to go ahead and get a stack anyways! They're reasonably priced and most cards have a few color options to choose from. However, something that did strike me as odd, was all of the "mommy" cards that state who your children are. Apparently moms are now passing around their own business cards to other mothers? Blows my mind. But, I guess nothing should surprise me anymore!

Light + Dark

Ever since I got a glimpse of Rachel Zoe's new home on her show, I could not stop obsessing over white walls paired with dark hardwood floors. For the home, I love neutrals with small pops of color here and there, although you'd never guess that if you saw my bedroom back home (it's Pepto Bismol pink, if you must know). The combination of hardwood and white is so sleek and timeless, while also effortless and elegant. Gah, I love! I can only dream that one day I will be so lucky to have a house half as beautiful as these photos!
